Didnt they try to buy a BK F9? F9 pilots reached a deal with BB at Republic (the dumbest move in avaition history) to fend them off. The rest is history. They just legally grew without F9. And I believe F9 pilots are still the lowest paid in the industry, been sold again, and are in an ongoing labor...

JB dropped the ball and went from having A320 cutting edge cabins in 2000 to old and dated in 2017.

They are trying to clean things up before the refresh (which will take time) but one has to wonder how they let things get so bad.

You get to see the weakness of SLC vs DEN in above posts.

DEN has better location (rj rangewise) and is a larger city.

SLC is a great hub. Is there a need for a 319 to fly RIC to SLC? Probably not.

CUN is a grear airport for those that havent been there.

New, modern, spacious. Controllers are decent.

Cancun lacks excess gates. It needs a better taxiway system, especially to/from 12L.

There is a new terminal opening on the west side of the airport that I guess could be
used for a “hub.”

It is a seasonal adjustment.

ORD, for some screwed up reason, is operated as a seasonal city for B6. The season runs May-Oct in past years. If that is any guide, by Nov, B6 will run 3 daily to BOS and 2 daily to JFK.

One year, they ran the third daily to JFK thru Dec.

The B6 ORD frequencies are seriously seasonal. By fall, they usually fall back to 2 daily JFK, 3 daily BOS...because Chicago is a seasonal small town like PBI or SRQ.

There’s no way UA adds secondary India.

Those plans go back to Continental in a different time and a different place.

I’m not saying EK is going to chase them off the nonstop route, But United would be doing what nobody else has done successfully in adding More India.

Just to check, they are dropping a 380 at JFK for a 777 at EWR? Big loss of seats, no? I know EWR cant handle the 380, but it says that EK has an excess of seats in the NY market (as many of us have long suspected)
