Re: how long before a U.S. long haul low cost carrier?

B6 from JFK/BOS. Don’t know if it will work and they don’t either that’s why they’re dragging their feet.

But with 180 slots a day at JFK, if you take just 10 of those slots from late evening Florida (JFK not slotted after 1000 as well) you have a respectable TA network.

Usually not. Reality is, in 2017, you can break this rule and they cant do anything about it. I know at my airline there are people transitioning from woman to man man to woman. Jewish people that need yamakas. Muslims that need head coverings. All those guidelines go out the window if someone chall...

The 747 was not Pan Ams demise. There were many factors, but they couldnt turn into a modern airline for deregulation in the 80s and beyond. They flew for 20 years after the 747 became the backbone of the fleet. Most of it in decline. There is a great book called skygods that gives you hundreds of p...

Did they drop it? Or is it just ongoing cancellations for hurricane. Even DL is flying it .1 out of JFK next spring. It is a dedicated fleet that is small in number. Transcons eat a lot of time...even if there is slack in the fleet.

AA is cutting international

Anyone see this commercial airing during the World Series and NFL games?

It is a montage of old chevy truck clips with a vintage type feel.

One of the clips is a chevy pickup pulling an AA 747.

I'm assuming the 747 part of the ad originally aired in the late 70s.

Pretty cool.
