Re: B6, NK and F9 Once LGA Has Been Completed?

Inside chatter that says otherwise and lots of investment at the MAT for B6. They just can’t replicate that gate situation or ramp space anywhere at the new terminal. It’s important to note that the new terminal is no bigger gate wise than the old terminal At a gate constrained airport like LaGuardi...

One of the reasons the terminal was never used beyond 2001 is it is too small. It simply can’t handle the crowds and needs of today’s operation

So I imagine all those common areas would get overwhelmed without reservations

Re: What are airport going to do with their A380 gates when they are no longer needed?

At JFK, They didn’t really design 380 specific gates. there are several gates that can accommodate it. Redesigns took place at T1 and T4...But they are gates that are used interchangeably with the other airplanes JFK did spend a lot of money on reinforcing the taxiway bridges. One of the few US airports without a hotel, the TWA Hotel opens today!

A lot of money was poured into this project.

With over 500 rooms, an infinity cool, a Connie, and lots of lounges and restaurants on site, JFK joins other world airports in a spectacular way!
