Re: DOT launches Cuba route case - reallocate F9 & NK frequencies

How so re TPA? It's the only Cuba market outside of S Florida that has shown some health and stability. In addition to WN's 7 weekly to HAV, a charter operated called Havana Air runs several weekly flights to HAV and other points across the island from TPA (and MIA, of course). Hard to believe a ch...

A couple of thoughts. Re: SJC-JFK on DL. I think this could be a pre-emptive move aimed at AAG. Rumors are out there that since AAG's move to T7 at JFK, with added room, AS might expand nontops to the west coast, in addition to LAX, SFO, SEA and PDX that are already served: I've definitely heard SA...

well given the introductory fares can be found for $24, i would say the starting point of this will definitely be unprofitable. On its own, ORH-JFK is probably a marginal (if not unprofitable) add, but it does achieve a few things - notably more goodwill with Massport, which B6 seems to have a good relationship with. It also achieves more aircraft utilization (look at those flight times - 6am departure from and 11:50PM arriv...

Nice low-risk add for B6, allowing it to further consolidate its pricing power in NYC to DR markets.
