Re: jetBlue drops numerous OTA's

This seems to be one of the reasons B6's stock went up today, while other airlines declined. It's a part of the cost reduction strategy B6 management outlined at last year's investor day. Investors seem happy to see management executing on these initiatives. Has anyone even heard of these websites? ...

Besides B6's new SYR-BOS flight, are there any other announced new services? Of note is B6's operations at SYR versus ROC, which may explain why WN is not in SYR (but seems to do just fine in ROC). B6 serves JFK, MCO, FLL, and soon BOS from SYR, but only serves JFK from ROC. Several times over the y...

I tend to assume this competitive advantage is oversold, since Delta seems to be willingly giving it up. It is being discussed in a thread about AA consolidating in CTB, giving DL the gates they need to consolidate. Can an A321 fit into the MAT gates? I'm sure B6 would love to upgauge certain LGA-Florida flights during peak periods. My understanding is that B6's current gates in the central terminal do not have space for the A321.

B6 entered LGB in 2001 with the intent of establishing the slot-restricted airport as its West Coast focus city. Re: Embraer pitches E195-E2 for JetBlue

If it has enough range it could do almost-TCON. They wouldn't need to have the whole fleet with Mint, just a subfleet. But what's the benefit? Putting aside that it won't have the range, what markets are "almost TCON" that are crying out for a Mint product on an airplane that would be 100...

Re: DOT launches Cuba route case - reallocate F9 & NK frequencies

Delta, Fedex and United are most likely to get the routes. AA, B6 and WN all received more frequencies in the original allocation and are largely duplicating what they were awarded with higher frequencies than other carriers. Thanks as always enilria! thanks again! That looks like a lot of NK cuts at LAX. At least 5 daily flights from what I can see. And also a lot of cuts at BWI. Interesting. Does NK have dedicated gates at LAX or are the gates CUTE? My understanding is that at least some of the gates are shared with F9...
