Re: Rumor' Airbus And Boeing 2018 Orders

So, a year after they started operating the A350, ET orders an additional 10. Now, allegedly, they've decided they don't like them? Yes and when the CEO publicly says they are performing well he allegedly means the opposite. The fact that just about every other CEO of a350 operators have said the s...

The a35k is on it's first ultra long haul flight from Doha to Miami. The aircraft is at fl360 as it starts crossing the Atlantic- a good 4000-6000 ft above 777's on similar route lengths from the middle east.

Re: Can DL's A359's fly ATL-JNB with a full payload?

No one has answered the question. It’s irrelevant what the MTOW (268t, 275t or 277t). The only thing that matters is the RTOW, which most certainly wont be close to the MTOW at 25deg, 5500ft, Rwy 21. Twins take a big knock out of JNB when compared to a quad. Back to the original question. Can a A35...

I'd imagine they will take their 268t A350s on order without retiring any 777s. Down the road, when the 77E needs to be replaced, they can get more A350s. When the 77L comes up for replacement in ~10-15 years, they can get higher rated A350s. (or whatever is on offer in 10-15 years) Dl's a350s are ...

Dl's a350s are at 275t and can be increased to 277t. If Delta is constantly flying with a belly full of cargo along with 100% pax , the 77l will be more economical in terms of fuel per ton of payload. However even small variations in cargo and pax load factors will shift the equation in favor of the...
