I’m assuming JFK service. If so, will it be back on the LR or can the A350 make it? The 350 will be restricted to 32-33t payload on the worst headwinds from BOM but will burn a lot less fuel. Doesn't matter, the fact that 787s are being flown on many of the world's longest routes (LHR-PER, SIN-LAX, SYD-IAH) means that airlines believe these routes can be flown with a profitable payload over those ranges, the fact that it's A330/767 capacity doesn't change that it's a highly capable airc...

The head of Airbus U.S has told avweek that they will absolutely follow the sanctions. Airbus has too much to lose in terms of military contracts and commercial business in the U.S. This is a non issue.

11 hours to fly 4100nm? That’s an average of 370 knots. It was also flying pretty darn slow when it did it’s trans Atlantic flight to jfk. (About 70 knots slower then the widebodies around it and 30 knots slower then the narrowbodies.) That was an fr24 extrapolation error once they lost the data......
