Congrats to MCI but I wish it was STL with FI and MCI with WW! No way in hell am I playing the WW crapshoot to Europe. Yeah, and STL ended up forking out far more in incentives than KC only to end up with WW. Money well spent lol! I think WOW in STL is just a little over an hour turn whereas MCI on...

every time my company gave out bonuses of this amount or higher, the tax withheld from it deflated some of the enthusiasm, but typically it came back as refund later in the year

I think they liked Air Choice One but felt need to move on, primarily looking for better connectivity at hubs. Detroit is actually less snow prone than many suspect. Not under influence of lake-effect snows and tend to be drier than most of the Great Lakes year round, almost as in a precipitation shadow of sorts

the schedule provides for connections MCI-PIT @MEM but doubt they will sell as such?! I expect to see a lot of these PTP schedule show up with this new fleet plan on J1.

Both airlines are not going to trash their own yields/routes and both partners are in it for equal opportunity and equal risk.. The WestJet model for the last seven years was to code share with absolutely anybody and everybody and what is happening now is a consolidation/pull back of some of those ...

to me their CJ4's are better suited for this new route which would a higher percentage of day trippers. I would think they have some current markets that would be better suited /more developed for the EMB135. It almost seems like a backwards strategy.

WOW the bigger story is the upgrade to EMB135. Total new direction for the company. I wonder if the current markets will eventually upgrade. They have had issues with NO checked luggage and very limited carryon allowance.
