If you could change one thing about flying as a pax on mainline, what would it be?

All,

I've been thinking about what annoys me most about being a passenger. Sometimes, it's drunks on the plane. Sometimes it's being treated badly by FAs. Sometimes it's being nickel-and-dimed on amenities.

Does anyone have their own "major hate"?

RE: VP Joe Biden Calls LGA A 'Third World Country'

I'll say it - the US airport sector needs some capitalism. Privately-owned and managed airports are the norm everywhere else, even in "socialist" Europe.
Would you let city and state governments cut your hair? No. So why do you think they can run a pleasant airport?

Why No Winglets On 777?

modern 737s have 'em, a lot of 757s are getting 'em and all airbuses have had them for ages. So why have no 777's got winglets, even the long range versions?

I'm sure there's a simple explanation..... Is it a matter of them already having very efficient wings?

Hi all, We're taking our 1-year-old daughter to Australia (from LON) for the first time in Feb. If this isn't too recent, I'd look at the impact LCCs like Ryanair and Wizz have had bringing Eastern European migrants to the West. There are maybe 600,000 Poles in the UK who have arrived in the last few years. Italy has attracted a similar number of Romanians... This may shock US readers, but in ...
