AA flew a DC-10 to ONT during the late 90's for a short period, prior to the new terminals opening and it was a stairway. Also, I believe HA flew a DC-10 as well in the 90's.

American Eagle used to fly to Miami but stopped a couple years ago....I'm hoping they can resume these flights, they were always full when I flew it, although perhaps not profitable. Perhaps after the BK they can make this financially viable.

AA has always had the option to hold a reservation for 24 hours at no cost. That's one of the things I like most about aa.com.

I hope they don't start charging for the 24 hour hold. That wouldn't be good!

Just booked a flight on aa.com and a when I selected the hold option I was given two choices.

- Hold for 24 hours (no fee)

- Hold for 7 days ($5.00 fee)

Interesting new way to generate more revenue.
