I travel domestically pretty often and have always found MCO to have the longest TSA lines. However, I flew out of SEA on a Sunday at 4p and have never experienced lines so long at the checkpoint nearest the B gates. If my hotel didn't honor my 2 pm late check out request I may have missed my flight...Jump to post

The 1st ex-GOL 738 has returned to service going on 2 weeks.
It always surprises me how excited people get for prepackaged junk food on a two hour flight. I find that odd as well ... especially if they are still serving free booze. Yea, free alcohol wld get my money too, although I do know many people who don't drink. I guess some passengers prefer the free ...Jump to post

Great job to AS and WN. Im pretty surprised B6 was so near the bottom of the list.

Happy to hear the E190s will be retired soon.Flew on them several times YYZ-LGA in the last year or so and they are shabby and depressing and ready for the Victorville scrapyard. LOL that's not very complimentary to aircraft that are only 10-12 years old. I've always thought the E90s to be a very n...Jump to post
Well, if you miss all the signs (electronic and regular) on every road leading to the airport you should miss your flight. I agree with you on that one. It never ceases to amaze me how many people ask questions and their are neon and printed signs/arrows and directions all over with answers. Too ma...Jump to post
I flew into the MAT from BOS one Saturday and I was surprised at how small and bare bones the gate area is. Kinda like one large room.
Must be just as miserable as the CTB/Concourse A was during delays or peak times.
Good to see RIC get an additional DEN flight next summer. Will it go to 2x E75 or will mainline remain?Jump to post
And also, I am not expecting any 757 retirement this coming year 2018. Because the 34 units that are left are International 757s, 34 International 757s which include 10 ex-US International 757s doing PHX-Hawaii runs, and they are likely to stay in the fleet for a while. American retired all of its ...Jump to post

I'm still baffled how so many people find airplanes so uncomfortable, but as a DL Silver and AA Gold I personally find all classes to be comfortable for pretty much any flight I take. This includes DL's 199 pax 757s. In First I'm comfortable, in Delta Comfort + I'm enjoy my flights and no issues wit...Jump to post
I think AA does a pretty good job with ORD. I rarely have any issues with delays flying to or through ORD on AA. I feel the facilities aren't the best but the operation usually runs smoothly for the most part. The only AA hub that's hit or miss with me is MIA because of delays and the attitude of so...Jump to post

MCO isn't too bad but I wouldn't consider it to be the best. The times I'm there the TSA lines are ridiculous but I figure it's to be expected given how popular Central Fla is. I agree with JAX being up there. That's a nice facility. The SMF WN/AS terminal is really nice as well. My top 3 airports a...Jump to post
I've noticed that AA has arrivals at a Gate 342 occasionally. Often its the B789 evening flight from DFW and can't seem to figure out where this gate is located. I'm thinking it's one of those gates at the far west at LAX that uses buses to transport passengers to the main terminal area?Jump to post
Who cares about what airline employees dislike about passengers? Passengers are the customers (who fund their paychecks) , like it or not. How about we start a list of things airline employees do that passengers dislike? Nice attitude there  That list wld annoy me as a fellow passenger and as...Jump to post
Nonsense, you would see UA exit SJU first (and that is not going to happen). SJU still has a whole lot of traffic to the mainland and AA is the largest legacy In SJU. With service to MIA, DFW, ORD, CLT and PHL. Please illuminate us on how you figure UA would exit SJU before AA or DL? UA has actuall...Jump to post
While I agree with your commentary, at some point the airport authority has to accept that they're stuck trying to put lipstick on a pig. As a former Angeleno, I can't see ONT ever becoming a viable alternative for leisure travelers heading to SoCal tourist attractions due to its distance and commu...Jump to post
I also think the fact that many pax will pay more to avoid connecting in New York gets overlooked on the PHL add. People will pay more for a direct flight, and they will pay more to avoid connecting in problematic airports (ie JFK). Given how often there are connection issues, people simply don't w...Jump to post
Has it been discussed if AA will eventually remove the ptv's from the 738's and LAA Airbus? Consistency is a factor for me when booking air travel. Are you serious? Don't you know you shouldn't answer a question with a question. But since you asked I'm very serious. Do you have answer or can you po...Jump to post

I agree deltadawg, the DL 739ER's don't seem bad to me either. 26 A,F are the most comfortable to me. The wall lines up perfectly to rest my head on however the A321's have more of a gap, so it's not as comfortable. Also the interior of the 739ER looks more modern to me.Jump to post
I fly often on mostly U.S. carriers and remember particular F/A's by how well they perform their duties and interact with others. Not by their appearance. I agree that a lot of the senior flight attendants are more friendly and seem to enjoy their career compared to younger ones.Jump to post

MCI is a dump. Plain and simple. Old design. Cramped areas, food selection in some terminals is a joke. Put down the kool-aid people, stop living in the past. Embrace growth and embrace the future! I think it was more "under-winged" than under powered. As I recall, the wing span was reduced in order to allow DL to fit it into certain gates. And I flew it, too. Sweet airplane, one of my favorites. I don't remember anything about it being "funky" in crosswinds or on final ap...Jump to post
