I was wondering if any one out there knows which airlines took Boeing's option to equip their 747-200/300's with the 10 fuel tank option for very long haul flights.

Any info will be welcome,

Rohan

Dear Rohan -
UAL i.e. had two B747-222B which had the FWD CTR WING AUX TANK, containing some (I think) 3,000 kg extra fuel...
That fuel was then transfered to the CTR tank as that one got empty...
I think tail numbers N151UA and N152UA if I remember well...
There are others but I am not at home to give you the list.
If you scroll through some of my postings I give the complete capacity numbers applicable as an answer to someone who had the question about fuel capacity options...
Happy contrails -
