Need Good Jet Engine Reference Book

I am looking for a good commercial jet engine reference book. Need info on applications and differences in the evolution of the different models. Does anyone have a recommendation? I found "Aircraft Engines and Gas Turbines, Second Edition" by Kerrebrok on amazon.com but it may be more geared towards engine design and that is not what I need. Thanks in advance for any inputs.

As others mentioned before, "The Jet Engine" from Rolls-Royce is definately a very good information source!

That is an awesome book: lots of physics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and the like, but it makes for an interesting read.

The Rolls Royce book is an awesome book, I also seem to recall an mate of mine had a Pratt & Whitney book during our apprenticeship. It was the only one I have ever seen, but might be worth looking at too!
