Taxiing out at YUL one time the ground controller commented that we possibly had a hole in the fuselage near the L2 door. Of course we thought he was looking at the outflow valve, but what do you do at that point? You return to the ramp and have maintenance check it out. Cost us about half an hour....

This, I suppose, is why more ATC folks should spend a few days every year running around with a ramper or two.
