Well I don't know exactly, but I believe the pressurization outflow valve is located in the back of the aircraft on the underbelly. I have no clue what that hole is though...

My understanding is that this outflow valve is regulating the DeltaP of the cabin pressurization, right ? My third question would be: is this outflow valve open sometimes during cruise ? I have always noticed this outlflow valve open while the a/c is on the ground and then closed before taxi.

The outflow valves are variable area units that control the rate of discharge of compartment air, and therefore Delta P. This valves are always modulating to maintain the cabin in the selected flight profile.

The Outflow Ram Air Shield, normally closed, is driven open during the TO roll, rotation & lading to deflect the airstream and create a low-pressure area over the Outflow Butterfly Valve.
The Butterfly Vlv controls the outflow of air at low flight altitudes.
The Thrust Recovery Vlv control air outflow at moderate to high flight altitudes.

Alpafloor, as a side note the KC-10A doesn't have an outflow valve, it only has the thrust recovery valve. Also, it has 2 airconditioning packs versus the DC-10's 3 packs..
