NWA N624US seems to be becoming a frequent visitor to San Diego. Not sure why she is here, but most likely dropping off and/or picking up military personnel. Still, rare to get a 747 in San Diego, and extremely rare to see one on North Island.
Very nice to see a passenger 747-200 still flying around, especially in San Diego.
She is still here as of 0800, and not sure when is leaving, so if any photographers are in the area to snap a couple of shots as she's leaving North Island, grab your camera and head over to Coronado beach. She'll most likely be departing on Runway 18, as most of the heavies here do.
