DL has posted some updated schedules (not posted on its website or OAG yet) to the CRS I am using, most of which are effective August 19th (some on September 1st). Some minor changes may be made between now and then in terms of flight times but in terms of equipment and frequency, these are usually 90% accurate if not more.
Here are a few highlights for some notable popular A.net cities:
ATL-PVD: down to 3 CRJ departures daily (not sure if CRJ or CR7)
ATL-SAN: 6x 757 service, no 767's though
ATL-DFW: lots of 757 action....five per day.
ATL-MSY: 4 out of 8 flights to be flown with 757's, the most since Katrina
ATL-DEN: 767-400 service ends on 8/18....back to 6x 757 and 1x M88
ATL-RDU: 11 flights per weekday with 5x 757
ATL-BDL: 6x M88
Looks like, form what you've posted, the 767s are (again?) going back into hiding... I know we were warned that DL would be doing frequent and "last-minute" schedules for a while so I'm not at all surprised.
(Thanx for including SAN in your highlight list, 'tristar.)

Quoting MOBflyer (Reply 4): In your update tomorrow, can you see anything regarding changes in MOB?
I looked up MOB but I forgot to post it....it showed a total of six flights...no more ATR's thankfully...1x M88 and I think 1 or 2 CR9's with the rest CRJ's.

STL too please. Seems to change a lot any more. Remember when ATL was all MD88s. Now ATL is mostly CRJs. Also curious about CVG and JFK for selfish reasons!

At one point RDU was in the top ten of revenue generating flights for DL. Must still be pretty
good with that many flights and with a high frequency of 757s.
During the summer, RDU is normally 7x 757, 1 or 2 MD80s, 1 or 2 738, and a CRJ or 2 in the mix somewhere.. with the cuts on MCO, the loss of FLL and TPA.. DL boosted their hub flying by 2 CRJ.. by winter, the 757s will be gone and replace with either MD80s or 738.. it's the cycle of life..
Some people look at the and say, "I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ONLY HAVE 3 MAINLINE! But I guess having two airports operating to Atlanta takes the need for mostly mainline away unless you want 5x flights each to IAH and HOU.
For August 19, I also found:
ATL-OKC: 1x M88, 4x CRJ. Weren't they getting some CR7's before?
ATL-TUL: 6x CRJ! Will they ever get any mainline?
ATL-LAW: 2x CRJ. Does anybody at Delta have the load factors for these flights?
Right now, an AA MD-80 is on approach over my house.

And I believe that two of those M88s use the DXB and LOS flight numbers. I think SLC is all CR9 to IAH as well...a long cry from the days of a couple of 757s to DFW and ATL from IAH.
