Please help me. I am wondering what type of Air Canada Aircraft I travel to Florida on. I believe it was March Break, 1985, the seating configuration was 2-4-2 or maybe 2-5-2 or even 2-6-2 but highly unlikely 2-6-2, pretty sure it was 2-5-2 though??

Can anyone help? We departed from YYZ terminal 2, thats all I know?

Thanks,

G

Either the L1011 tristar or the 762 is the most probable.
Chances are it was a tristar.

I cant think of any other widebodies they used at that time other than the 747.

Economy class air canada seat config. was indeed 2-5-2 for the L-1011. I believe it is 2-3-2 for the 767, but I'm not sure what they had for their 747s at the time.

Actually 747's use to fly YUL-FLL, YUL-MIA, YYZ-TPA and YYZ-MIA, we never and still dont have direct flights from YVR.

Thanks

I guess with the times, A/C didn't have many aircrafts, I know now (just having been to MIA in november) that there area like....three flights a day to MIA alone. We left at 7am on a A320, there was another A/C flight later and a Canadian 767 i think goes there as well. Much more practical now with the multiple flights daily,

Thanks, I would have never guessed that there was a 747 used for such a short haul, I think we flew into tampa?

Did the L1011 fly there too?

There is no aircraft with a 2-6-2 configuration.
