Does anyone know the current status of the four former TG MD-11's?

IIRC they were being converted to freighters. Does anyone know who and where the conversion is taking place?

HS-TMD has now the registration N258UP. She seats at Singapore (QPG) for it's conversation.

Alle four goes to UPS Airlines.

UPS usually contracts with Boeing to shepard the aircraft through the conversion process, and SASCO is one of Boeing's contractors on the MD11 conversion, so it sounds like SASCO is doing 258. Any idea who is doing 257? It sort of doesn't make sense to send it to Roswell first if it's ultimately going to SASCO, unless Boeing has a contractor at Roswell who strips the interior before sending the bird to the conversion house. Assuming that slots are open, the whole process takes more or less 5 months.

I saw one yesterday in BKK, purple tail, white fuselage. Not sure which one it was.
