Hi,
I have just booked two tickets for myself and my work buddy from PRG to BSL with Easyjet. 72 euros for both of us, round trip, all taxes included. I find that to be very good deal.
Anyways, I am looking forward to my trip wit Easyjet. How are you experiences with them?
By the way, do you know any good place to stay for one night in BSL, hostel, hotel (budget). Any good pub or restaurant to go that you would recommend.
thanks
Ales

I have flown with easyJet on two return trips (LTN-GLA, LTN-SXF) and we had no problems. Aircraft departed and arrived on time, cabin crew were friendly, aircraft were clean and comfortable for the duration, and food/drinks were reasonably priced (though we did not opt for anything). All in all, based on my experiences, you get what you pay for.

Easy jet is a low cost airline with a great service.
I mean, clean plane, friendly crew, on schedule flying to main airports and not far apart aerodrome (you know what I mean...)
I have flown 4 times with easyjet and it is a good option. Even if no food is served on board, I think that it is better than regular airlines such as Alitalia or Swiss...

I have flown with easyJet on two return trips (LPL - BCN) and experienced no problems with them at all. Each flight departed on time, but arrived ahead of schedule - prompting the captain on one flight to remark "Don't believe everything you see on TV" (in reference to the TV program 'Airline' that features easyJet in the UK - generally delays and angry passengers are the focus of the show, simply becasue it is more entertaining to a TV audience).

Well i flew easyJet last year, and i had no dreads as to how the airline would work. Unlike i have with FR, i would never set foot on one of their aircraft.
I felt that the easyJet cabin crew were friendly, they were very comical. The B737-300 aircraft was very, very clean and the seats were not very 'worn and torn'. They were pretty well maintained, and the flight was excellent.
I can say that i am 99% sure you will have a great experiance with them!

I have flown them around 30 times over the years although not for the last year as I don't live in the UK anymore.
I never had a bad experience with them and think they are great. I had the odd delayed flight but no more than any other airline, and certainly less than some of the other budget airlines.

Thanks to all of you for sharing your experiences. I am sure my flight will be fine. My previous boss used to fly with them between PRG and BRS all the time and he never had any problem.
It will be also my first LCC flight in Europe. I usually fly full service airlines, mostly Skyteam and Staralliance.

Hi!
I have flown with U2 around 9-10 return flights from LGW or LTN to BUD. Both the 73Gs and the 319s were ok, with acceptable seat pitching. The new online check-in system is really good!!!
In the big average the flights were on time, the aircrafts were clean and the food on board cost same like other LCCs' meals... The only personal problem is the price, as U2 doesn't have so cheap prices between London and Budapest.

Unlike other airlines (namely FR!), easyJet does not gove away free seats and will only sell seats if they can make a profit or atleast cover their costs.
All airlines seem expensive after Ryanair! But easyJet still remains one of the cheapest airlines in Europe and if you book in advance you can usually be guaranteed of a great fare!
If your looking at booking a flight less than a few weeks before your departure date you would be wise to shop around as the legacy airlines may well be cheaper, easyJet rewards passengers for booking in advance as a general rule and prices go up quite steeply in the last few days.

I took my first easyJet flight last year, and was dreading it expecting the flight to be full of drunken louts, amateurish staff and services cut to a minimum, just like they sometimes feature on 'Airline'. I was totally wrong – I actually enjoyed the flight.
The plane was brand new and clean, we departed and arrived on schedule, and both the cabin crew and ground staff were professional, courteous, friendly and helpful. I have flown them many times since and on all flights there were high standards of professionalism. True, you do not get any free drinks/meal service and there is no IFE, but the flights were all under 2½ hours and you can buy snacks and drinks on board, with friendly service.
The service on U2 is better than that I have experienced on many of the legacy carriers, and I would go further and say that U2 staff could give some guidance to the VS staff about standards of service. I have no qualms with flying with easyJet.

I've made many trips with Easyjet and so far have had only positive experiences. Two flights were cancelled due to snow but in the both cases the whole airport was closed so not EZY's fault. I can only recommend them.
BSL is also a lovely city. There's an EZY hotel over the river near the German railway station if you haven't seen enough orange Many good restaurants, eg. Picobello by the river for Italian food. Also Steinenvorstadt (in the centre near BarfĂĽsserplatz) has lots of bars and cinemas. Enjoy your stay

All in all they are fantastic! I've flown on them approximately 15 times, and the worst experience I had was a two hour delays, which wasbecause of French ATC. Their planes are nearly all very new, and comfortable, crews fantastic, prices are crazy, and unlike their main competitor, you are treated with respect and are not consistently bombarded with adverts. I would recommend their onboard baguettes, very tasty
And so long as you don't turn up late, without your passport/id or drunk, then travelling with EZY really is easy

Hi guys,
after reading the forum for some years I finally signed up
This will be my first post so I will try to be positive:
I've flown Easyjet only once from Liverpool to Amsterdam because I missed my MAN-DUS flight on LH which was not refundable. I booked the Easyjet OneWay 8 hours before the departure. I thought 180 Euros was a lot of money (hearing people on the plane talk about how cheap their tickets were was not cool!) but I guess its cheap compared to booking on the "maincarriers".
The previous day for the LH flight I was late for about 15 minutes. I didnt want to make that mistake twice a week, so I went to the Liverpool Airport 3h early. With a delay of 2h, you can imagine I was very bored!
The flight itself was alright. Not Bad-not Good! The people on board made a lot of noise, making it difficult to sleep. Maybe it was because of the route (cheap flight to Amsterdam = 3/4 of pax were young students hahaha)
I always prefer REAL airlines, but if the price and timing are alright,
I dont mind taking Easyjet. I guess its one of the better LCC's...agree?

I flew EasyJet many times. Good for the value. Seats comfort on their A319 is far better than on their B737. By the way, they call A319 a 8 exits Airbus. Which is wierd. Does any one know why (A319 usually have 6 exits) ?
The centre section of the fuselage is actually that of the A320, hence the double over-wing exits. The double over-wing exists are required in order to accommodate the 156Y pax that easyJet wanted as max capacity on the A319. With only six exits on the aircraft, maximum capacity would be limited to 149Y.

au contraire!
I'm taking my first flight w/ EasyJet in 2 weeks and got a very good fare from BUD to LTN... 3 people for approx $40 per person... I booked 3 months ago, mind you but that is a very good fare.
I had to help some friends reroute from AMS to London not too long ago and helped them book on EasyJet. The fares were much higher since it was a last minute booking but it was still cheaper than any of the legacy airlines. They were pleased with the service.
