To elaborate, Lockheed and Martin Marietta merged in 1995. Lockheed is a company employing over 125,000 people, posted a roughly 500 million dollar profit in 2002.
It includes the units:
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics
Lockheed Martin Electronic Systems
Lockheed Martin Information & Technology Services
Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems & solutions
Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co.
Their sales over over 60% US Department of Defense, with about 4% to commercial customers, non of which are airplanes anymore
Production ceased in 1983, with the last delivered in 1985. I'm not sure the status of how many are left flying, but I believe total number built was around 300.

Lockheed built exactly 250 Tristars...200 standard-length models & 50 of the shorten 500 series. Most L-1011s are now out of service, but the last 2 Tristars assembled (500s) are still flying with the Royal Saudi Flight. Regards.

Lockheed Martin is currently the United States' largest defense contractor. Huge corporation and they have their hands in just about everything you can think of.

According to Airfleets.com 39 L1011's are still in service. ATA still uses six in the charter role and is the largest commercial operator. The RAF has nine left in service in the tanker(converted L1011-500's)/Cargo role, and in all likelihood, will be the last TriStar's flying very soon.

Does Royal Jordanian still fly theirs? I thought they still did, but I'm not up on aviation in Jordan so much...and I probably missed someone else post about it on another topic.
