Hi all...
Hope everyone is having a nice month of August...
We've been working VERY hard and right now are completing the production of our 5th new program to be released in the next few months... and in addition to that our film crews have completed another 4-5 programs which will go into production soon... so all in all 10 new programs being worked on for the WAR series at this time...

I would say that they're all small to medium size airlines, our preferred choice, and about half are airlines new to the series while the others are airlines we've already filmed in the past. Its always a good sign when an airline wants you back for more filming I'd say...
It gets hard to find new airlines when you've filmed more than 200 of them...

So the plan for the remainder of the year starting in early September is to have a new release every 2 weeks or so...

That's about all the news for now.
Cheers from Boston!

I'm visiting Boston next year - any chance I could pop in and meet all the guys behind Just Planes?  Smile

It really depends when... most people are on the road most of the time... The only thing that's there all the time is the warehouse but its not open to the public and it would be a boring visit, trust me... just rows and rows of boxes stacked up...

Does this include re-releases? So is there a possibility of seeing a "new" dvd almost every week? Also which friday will the 1st one be released?

Either way this is great to hear, and i'm looking forward to what you guys have coming up.

All the titles mentioned above are new programs... no re-releases are in the schedule yet but I believe 1 sold out program is about to be confirmed for a re-release and talks about a video program to be re-released on DVD... so those 2 would be additional... maybe more who knows...

Unfortunately we're not... We don't film as much as we once used to...
In 2003 we filmed nearly 500 flights but now that number is more around 150 to 200 a year and the staff we have easily covers that.

Sorry to hear that. I wasn't being serious though, but thanks anyways .....  bigthumbsup

I think its time to order a few new ones. I've got my eye on that Alaska 732 one in specific.

bigthumbsup  Darn right it is! I was watching the clip on YouTube last night and I think I might have to watch it again tonight.

The Air Greenland has been on my list for quite some while, as well as the WestJet one just for the fact of my local airport being in it.

For those who do not get our emails, in celebration of the Olympics at Beijing we're offering the Beijing Airport DVD for $8 for the next few days... (There is a min order of $20 on our website though)...
This offer is not advertised on our website at this time, if interested just order the DVD and instead of $25 the price will automatically change to $8...

I fully understand that you cannot discuss future airlines. Can we make suggestions for considerations? If so i would like to suggest ZOOM of Canada or ZOOM UK

Quoting JustPlanes (Reply 18):

I would take that means UK as well

Take care from someone who is counting down the days to your 1st release
