KSJC is now 99% done as we enter beta testing this week. I hope to have it on Avsim by Friday night at the latest, but likely sooner. If anyone here is familiar with the airport and would like to beta test, shoot me a PM. (Aaron?)
Here's a quick tour around, so sit back, relax and enjoy the flight...

Looks very nice indeed! Personally I feel it may look a bit better if you changed the grass textures though - from a distance it looks like there are no textures at all - just block green.

Excellent! I look forward to downloading it!

I agree.
I really hope you do RNO next- I would love a realistic scenery since I fly through there a couple times a year to get to Tahoe!

That looks fantastic. I fly in there all the time with a DC10F. Don't have a flight sim though so I cannot test it for you. I would love to see a movie of your sim in action. We always fly the El Nido arrival to 30L and depart 30R with the Loope departure MVA transition. Give it a shot.

It's hard to see in the pictures but theres some texture to the grass. I'll try to have a more photo real ground in the first update, but this is visually the best solution that I've tested so far with my limited resources. I might need to hire someone to help me in that department.
EMC, I'll make a video if you promise to take some cockpit pictures on your next approach into SJC.

UPDATE: If you are experiencing low FPS, try moving the "ga planes.bgl" from the scenery folder. Initial beta testing did not include the static GA aircraft as they were added last minute. You may be able to get a 50% increase in fps depending on your system.

SJC4Me... It looks real nice, too bad I don't play flight simulator anymore otherwise I would've downloaded it. I've been to SJC alot so it's fun to see an add-on scenery for FS9 that looks familiar to me.
